If I keep my rustfree Golf2 bonnet and bits back when I get rid of the rest, will that be good to use to repair the LT if I manage to get it?

My gramp repaired the bottom bit of my old mini with baked been tin once Very Happy A golf bonnet is prolly a bit better than an old baked bean tin Very Happy

cant see it doing any harm if your trying to save some cash . fink baz does it . oveusly you would grind the egdes back of paint so you got a good weld

The roof panals a nice size. chop it off around the out side with a axe and hammer.
