I was just wondering, if I want to buy a new stater motor for my type 25 where is the best place to get one from..? I've had mine reconditioned once but it seems to be playing up again and turning over too slowly.. It might be the bush has gone wonkey again but I've only just replaced that.. I think new one would be the best way forward.. yes.?

duno mate . iv had a few done over at ALTSTART in glos by M.A.S.S and theve been good as new . its not a wanky earth is it ? that can make um slow

sorry, back to starter motors. ive had one reconditiond on my old mk2 polo and it lasted three years of me owning it and still going.

i know GSF sell the stater motor for my van, it's a 100 quid but i'll have to investigate the dodgy earth idea first.. cheers toastie

I bought a new starter motor in the end from gsf.. the van starts first time now. but i've got this lead with 3 holes in the end of it that plugs into something obiously.. but i can't find where..lol

did you un plug it of f the old starter ? i dont recon you could have as can fink what it would of been some of the t25s and bays have som straige plugs on the right hand side ot the engin but i dont no what they do realy . but my ges is ignor them untill you find somethin that dont work . . hope that helps a little .
