hope someone here can help,
ive got a very weedy pair of speakers and a very noisy beetle so sounds aint too good.
ive got a kenwood sub thingy and a two channel amp, is it as easy to rig up as i think or is there a pukka way.
power to amp,
speaker wires to amp,
wires from amp to sub?

You need to take a wire from the headunit to the amp (remote wire) to turn the amp on when the head unit comes on.

A power lead from the amp to the battery+ (fused)
And an earth

Then you can either wire up the weedy speakers to one channel (+ and -)
then the sub to the other channel (+ and -)
or
leave the weedy speakers wired to the head unit as normal and bridge the sub.
meaning you use the + to one channel and the - to the other channel

have they all packed up ? any more info ? are they fused right and left seprute on a bug ? my best bet would be the switch . borrow one and try it

if both went its prob the switch or the wireing to it . if you cant find it i will have a go if you want . there aint alot to the wires on a bug tbo .
