I've got an engine block heater in the Dodge, but because it's Canadian it needs 110v electricity - I'd like to try it for a couple of days before I spend the money on buying my own transformer - can anyone help please?

Yes - got a couple at work. No problem with lending for a couple of days, but not passing you anytime soon.
Work seems to be taking me more south than north at the mo.
I can bring it home and you can pick it up from my place, or I can bring it along to the meet on Tuesday. Would be good to see you again fella. Surely the perfect excuse for you to get out for a couple of hours?

Thanks dude, I've not been about much but I was holding off replying a little bit because I met a dude on my kids school run who said I could borrow one - first time I'd spoken to him though and I was kind of holding my breath over it...

...anyway, he turned up with it, and he works with yank appliances too and gave me an extension lead with the correct "hubble" connector on it too
