brake pedal sticking on i have to put foot behind pedal and pull back to release which is a tad amusing at times while driveing. if it was callipers sticking would the brake pedal still come back or is it the cylinder playing up ?

oh dear . i watched my old neighbours son fix his dads broken allegro with a resin mallet many years ago

pedal assembly has rust. remove it and disassemble and clean/ wire brush and grease or anti seize and reassemble.
