Ive not made up my mind yet but...
1966 Beetle, original factory fit sliding steel sunroof (golde)
Solid car, i cant say no rust, look at it, but nothing to worry about! its gone in the bottom of both doors but thats really it!
Car was taken back to bare metal in 1989 by a chap who was going to restore it, thats inside, outside, engine bay, and under the bonnet. the guy then bought a camper and put the bug under a cover for 16years until 2005 when someone took the project on. it was then covered in ankor wax which has fully protected the car from rusting.
Rayvern Hydraulics, drops it to the floor and lifts it 6", front and rear independant
EP Safari front screen, one of hardly any in the UK!
Cream/White interior, door cards need a bit of tlc and seats need a good scrub but its all there!
MOT'd til august 2011, taxd about the same but obviously tax free!
If you whip the hydros off, it runs 3splines on the back and beam scraping on the front.
2" narrow beam with CB performance dropped spindles and sway away adjusters.
1600 twinport engine which is SWWEEEET, weber idf40 carb, streetmax/thunderbird merged header and back box.
badbits u ask, well, its hard to list bad bits as its one of those cars that will never be a completed project, it needs new ball joints, it needs sunroof seals sorted, bottom of both doors arnt great but ive seen worse, no carpets, no fuel guage, not sure what else i would really complain about but im sure different people will find different things annoying lol.
this car gets a stupid amount of attention, if u dont want that, this definatly isnt for you, if you park it up at tescos and get to the shop without someone talking to you about it then u live in a zombie town or you must stink too bad for people to approach u lol.
open to any questions u might have
£3700ovno dont know how competitive that price is, find me a similar spec'd car to compare it too! lol
