Howdy folks,



Up for sale here we have my wife's Mk3 GTI ( and yes she know's im selling it:incheek:)
2 litre 1998 8 valve GTI


I bought this off Wal last year and before that it was owned by Smull..
so it has a good bit of history from folk on here.............


Since owning it ive put new tyres on the front...new exhaust system...and welded a patch on the front passenger side strut( visible from engine bay)


BAD POINTS......................

Exhaust knocks....
Still pops out of reverse....
Passenger headlamp cracked.....
Drivers elec window has stopped working....


I have Replacement headlights........just recently bought...
I think the exhaust just needs readjusting or possibly new rubber bushes....

I do NOT have the time to sort the faults on the car,as we have just moved house and im still trying to re-build my splitty van ready for Action............

The car IS MOT'd till 26 th June THIS year...
Taxed till 31 Aug THIS year....

Like the old fart i am i forgot to add mileage...........................131,358

Really???!!!!..................what were the quotes out of interest

I've only been driving for 5 years and on the comparison sites I was looking at £ 800 without any haggling mind you . And RH insurance who insure the car not the driver said a mk3 gti is not classic so wouldn't insure it !!

ahhh,i see now...i didnt realise you only had ya licence for such a short time
