Section all welded in and all straight.


Whent to trial fit the new frame head after re welding some of the welds it came with and straightening the bottom plate that was out of shape and the fucking thing will not even fitt the front beam. its all the wrong shape. Bastard

Will have a look tomorrow and see what i can do with it. had to walk away from it tonight.

Hr's of cutting hitting swearing welding resulted in this.


it fitts . and only 1deg out of line. i'll sort that out tomorrow.

Just picked this pair up. another bit of the jigsaw sorted.

Dropped spindles.

After lots of cutting and reshaping of the napolians hat its welded in. but only after moveing the break master cylinder over to make space for a clutch master cylinder.



Fuel pipe and gear linkage acsses hole sorted.

Tomorrow should see gear linkage sorted.

And peddle assembly and master cylinders trial fitted .


other pan is ready to pop on but it fecking freezing out there.

I had to hit a block of wood with a hammer to move it earlyer becouse it had frozen to the ground and it wouldent move with me kicking it.

Right. other pans on this side was not the best fit had it taked in place three times untill i was happy with it.

with that done it was time to drop the body back on wots left of it.

then i blocked the front up and drilled out all the bulkhead spot welds and pulled that out.


Started converting the new panel from left hand drive to right.

Will have this done tomorrow and the bulkhead back in.

Still would not work clever clogs. The steering coloumn hole is not semetrical.

just put the colum through the hole and start welding

Fixed that for you ^^.

Had a major set back saturday. droped the body back on and it diddent fit there was a twist somewhere so took the body back off and started messureing.
then found the problem the framehead was twisted even thouge i used levels and messured every thing severl times before welding. then found out why. the inclinometers were lying to me. how the fuck dose this work ? posision level and get a reading .




Turn it 180deg and get a different reading.



Should be reading the same messurement
One burnt out angle grinder later a twist here and a cut there its tacked
back together all straight and the bodys back on and fits.
