I have a broken non running T4 that needs to find a new home.
Putting the feelers out on here before it finds it way into ebay.

2001 Y plate
Red
Long wheel base
2500cc - but timing belt has failed so have to work on the basis that the motor is scrap (Belt was changed 2 years and approx 35k miles ago as was water pump so very pissed off that it has failed!)

Non running T4's on ebay seem to go for aound £750, so thats what I'm after really.(it belongs to my employer so not 'mine')

circa 127k I think

has it been looked at at all mate ? im guessing someones checked the belt snapped . a mate of mine has shown some intrest and may make an offer , the body look ok , is it tidy ish ?

It's a manual. 5 speed. Box is OK
3 seats up front and ply lined from new. the ply lining is shot but should have protected what is beneath
Yes been looked at and confirmed belt issue. Belt was replaced 2 years ago and is within mileage.
Really don't know why it has failed.
Body is ok. Some dents that you would expect with what is essentially a 10 year old builders van, some scratches and the red paint has seen better days, but it's OK.
Need to get it gone so will ebay at the end of next week if we still have it.

You can see where the signwriting has been and how the red has done the usual fading. There are some scratches on the side panels (passenger side) and one dent worthy of note on the drivers door.
From new this has been ply lined and carpeted and the interior behind the lining looks to be in very good condition. The headlining is sagging a bit in the back and the door card on the tailgate is damaged.
Seats have had seat covers and will come up well with a quick clean. Cab floor similar - a good scrub and it wil come up lovely.
This has a full bulkhead that has been cut. Looks to be aftermarket one that
has screwed in place so can be removed.
We've had some 'visitors' this weekend - see damage to sliding door lock. All still on one key. I think I have two keys for it - waiting for confirmation on this.
I disconnected teh battery before the weekend to stop anyone trying to start it but when last driven the electric windows worked. The radio doesnt.
It has the potential to be a good bus for domeone who has the time to invest. I was tempted, but I just dont have the time or inclination right now!

Two owners from new. Was bought by one of our subcontractors from new on 01/05/2001 and then purchased by us on 12/5/2005.
The V5 does say that its an Auto (just noticed thanks Toast) but it isn't. Manual 5 speed
Had a new clutch in July 2011 at 126942 miles bill for this and service totalled £700 plus
Previous services all done to schedule - new discs all round at 108k (April 2010)
