as she cant get out much she wants to be able to sit in the garden , going to need some diging out and a wall built , so got some questions for alli and anyone ells with any ideas .

heres a couple of pics to see what im on about

want to dig it out to the end of the wall to make a square

so i think we will need a mini skip , how much and where from ? or a pick up truck ? just to move the earth

then we will need a wall , L shaped about 11 foot then about 5 accorss . would it be cheaper to do it in brezz blocks then cover them in somthing to look nice ? i guess it would be quicker so cheaper ? any idea of price ?

after that we will need a flore but will cross that bride when we get there smile

how much to rent a mini digger ? or how much for someone strong to did it out ?

Well I would say Ali the man!! lol
unless u got a couple of mates u can pay in beer prob be easier quicker to get a mini digger
Y a brick wall? U could fence off the area? Bricks would go with house better than blocks an render in my opinion!!
I can sort a cheap skip for cash as long as skip Is not on road

The wall will cast a bomb as it will have to be retaining to hold bac the higher level of ground !!
It will need to be hollow blocks and then fill hollow blocks with concrete !!

How about a smaller area dug out get some railway sleepers cut them down and concrete them in the ground as a retainer

Then just hardcore the area and lay patio slabs or gravel !!

I'm on phone ATM give me an hour or so I'll get on PC and write something properly
Or I'll call in Monday and explain it properly smile

mm ye thats a posibility mate smile

a sleeper is 8ft long if cut in to 4 thats 4 2ft lengths they are 9/10 inches wide so i guess 6 sleepers would give you 8ft by 8ft roughly !!
if you put 1ft in the floor and left 1ft of sleeper showing that should be enough to hold ground back !!
sleepers vary MASSIVLY in price and size so cant help on price of them my friend !!!

listen mate pm a time ill have a look monday andtalk you through it smile
