Im just in the process of buying some new headlight bulbs for the ghia,they are the early round base 3 pin type as used on early bugs and splittys....Anybody know if its possible to uprate them to halogen bulbs?

id have a look at ebay and see if they sell um . i think iv seen then in the past jolly good luck

Cheers Toastie,think i may have found some blue look Xenon bulbs which are apparently 30% brighter than the original type bulbs...they have got to be better than travelling at night by candle light!

i put some of them in the van and there ace

very good in the fog too
